“Helping Pakistan’s infrastructure: 90-355mm HDPE pipe extruder and extrusion die testing in progress”
At a time when global infrastructure construction is booming, Pakistan, as an important economy in South Asia, is vigorously promoting the upgrading and renovation of its urban water supply, drainage and gas transmission pipeline networks. To meet this urgent need, SHARC’s carefully crafted 90-355mm HDPE pipe extruder and supporting extrusion die are currently being fully tested for Pakistani customers, which is expected to inject strong impetus into local infrastructure.

This 90-355mm HDPE pipe extruder is equipped with a cutting-edge control system that can accurately control key parameters such as extrusion temperature, pressure, and screw speed. During the test, the operator easily inputs instructions through the smart panel, and the machine responds quickly to ensure that the wall thickness of each inch of extruded pipe is uniform, the size is accurate, and the error is controlled within a very small range, laying a solid foundation for subsequent installation and use
High-performance extrusion die: The matching extrusion die is carefully designed and optimized, made of special alloy material, with excellent wear resistance and heat conduction performance. Its unique flow channel structure effectively reduces the shear stress of the material during the extrusion process, allowing the melt to flow smoothly, and the surface of the formed pipe is smooth and flawless, greatly improving the appearance quality and internal performance of the pipe.

After many tests, exciting interim results have been achieved. The performance indicators of the 90-355mm HDPE pipes produced have met or even partially exceeded customer expectations. In the pressure test, the pipe can withstand pressures that are several times higher than the normal pressure of the local water supply network, ensuring safe and stable water supply; in the corrosion resistance test, after being immersed in a simulated acid-base environment, there is almost no obvious corrosion on the surface of the pipe, showing excellent durability; in the ring stiffness test, the large-diameter pipe shows excellent resistance to external pressure, which is enough to cope with various pressures that may be faced when buried deep underground.
