Raw material preparation:
1.Raw material preparation:
Weigh the raw materials such as PVC resin, stabilizer, lubricant, filler, pigment and other raw materials according to formula. This process can be automatic or manually, depends on clients demand.
2.Mixing
Feed materials into mixer and mix all materials well according to right time and temperature.
3.Extrusion
The extruder heats and plasticizes the raw materials in the hopper and extrude them into a tube from the die.
The speed of the PVC profile extruder and the size of the die will affect the wall thickness and size of the PVC profiles.
Vacuum calibration and cooling table
The extruded profile is shaped by a air vacuum and water cooling
5.Traction/Haul off
The shaped profile is pulled out at a certain speed by a traction machine.
The speed of the traction machine will affect the length and thickness of the profile.
6.Cutting
Cut the pulled profile into the required length.
Tools such as saws and scissors can be used for cutting.
7.Lamination or printing or co-extrusion process for profile surface treatment
If a profile has co-extrusion layer, then co-extruder machine is required. The co-extrusion layer can be PVC, ABS, ASA or other materials.
If there is wooden design on the surface of PVC profiles, then we will need check the actual samples for deciding of using lamation machine or printing machine.
8.Inspection
The profile is inspected for appearance and performance to ensure that the quality of the profile meets the standards.
The appearance inspection includes checking whether there are cracks, bubbles, scratches and other defects on the surface of the profile.
The performance test includes checking the tensile strength, burst strength, weather resistance and other properties of the profile.
9.Packaging
Package qualified profiles and then store or ship them.
Packaging can be done in plastic bags, cartons, wooden boxes, etc.
The production process of PVC profiles involves a variety of equipment and processes, and strict quality control is required to produce qualified profiles.
10.Recycling
If some profiles not meet the requirements, then they will be crushed, milled and recycled.
